However, it wasn’t just a holiday, and was actually work-cum-pleasure for Bebo, who was there promoting a fashion brand that she’s the ambassador of. The clothing apparel label has been so happy with sales going up since Kareena took over as their face that they planned an international campaign for which the actress was flown to the world’s fashion capital. She also had a fashion shoot for the brand while there, and since Saif had some free time in his schedule, he tagged along to France just so he could spend more time with his lady love. We hear about celeb couples splitting all the time because of distance issues, but for these two it’s so far so good! |

 Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapur fell off a bike while shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj's film 'Kaminay', and both stars are sporting quite a few bruises post the little mishap! Ironically for Bollywood, it wasn’t the hero’s fault, because the scene features the heroine in the driver’s seat! Yup, Vishal was canning the shot with Priyanka riding the motorbike and Shahid on the back seat in a muddy area, and at one point the muck got too much for the actress to handle! So in a matter of moments she went from riding comfortably to losing control and skidding! Unfortunately, the two-wheeler fell on top of the duo, which caused minor cuts and bruises. Priyanka says that even though the accident was scary while it happened, now it’s her ego that’s more bruised than anything else! We hope her superficial and less skin-deep wounds all heal up quickly! |

 Dev Anand just started shooting his new project 'Chargesheet', but the man has proven that he’s a workhorse by announcing two more films already! Dev saab’s next two will be international ventures, and both will be made in angrezi. The first one’s called 'When Heart Beats Are The Same', and will be an intense love story shot in a European nation. The film will have a father and son as the only 2 central characters, while all the other minor actors will be locals. Dev saab will play the father's role himself, but is on the look out for a star with a strong command of the English language to play his beta. The 84 year old’s second film will be called Song Of Life', and is inspired from Pt. Ravi Shankar's relationship with his daughter Norah Jones. Both films sound promising, and should be worth a look see! |

This one brings the 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' combination of Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan together again, and is definitely one of the hottest Bollywood projects in the making at the moment! Well, after Singh Is King reestablished the top slot that Vipul’s already cemented in this business, the interest in his next film skyrocketed, and everyone wanted the rights to the project! As it turns out, Indian Films has now sealed the deal after making Vipul an offer he couldn’t turn down by putting Rs. 120 crores on the table! For the record, this makes London Dream Bollywood’s most expensive film ever! Let’s just hope the film recovers its costs, or there’s going to be a giant hole in Indian Films’ pocket! |

Amitabh Bachchan joined the Indian-origin British Member of Parliament Keith Vaz last week to open the new premises of a diabetes charity in England. The new building will help support a charity which aims to raise awareness about diabetes and provide free blood sugar tests through mobile assessment units. A few weeks ago a photo frame of the Big B was auctioned to raise money to assist the unit, and now his star power has helped make more people aware of the facility. All those starlet’s that claim to be too busy to help out every now and then should totally take a page out of this legends book! |

Sanjay’s decided to repeat Paresh Rawal and Rahul Bose from his Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam cast in his next mad comedy, and this time Konkona Sen Sharma, Javed Jaffrey and Neha Dhupia will provide added star value to the title credits! Fantastic will revolve around the entertainment business, and Sanjay promises that the concept is something that has never been attempted on the Hindi screen before!  Sudhir Mishra signed an underprivileged boy from Jharkhand called Sikandar Aggarwal for his film 'Tera Kya Hoga Johnny', and is now making sure that the 17-year-old doesn't go back to his old life. Sudhir says that Sikandar is very talented and has a sharp mind, which is why he doesn’t want his potential to go to waste. The filmmaker has now taken charge of the Sikandar’s life, and is determined to see him make something of himself. Sudhir even wanted to legally adopt the teenager, but according to Indian rules a 17 year old is too old for adoption. So instead, Sikander now lives with and is looked after Sudhir, and will start going to college soon to complete his formal education. Here’s hoping that Sikander makes the most of this literal second chance that life has given him! |

Everyone who knows the nawabi family knows that they have an annual get-together that takes place at their ancestral home in Pataudi each winter. The whole khandaan takes a few days off every year and use the break to spend time together under one roof. This year the get-together takes place in December, and it seems that Mansoor and Sharmila Ali Khan Pataudi have invited Bebo to join them as well! Insiders say that the invite is a result of the time Saif and Kareena spent with his parents in London last month, where the chhote nawab clearly told his folks that he wants to marry the Kapoor girl. Well, Bebo might not be wearing a wedding band yet, but it’s obvious that she’s definitely part of the family! |

 Vishesh Films gave us the musical hit 'Aashiqui', and is now all set to repeat history with its next offering 'Jashn', which will have Adhyayan Suman in the lead. The film will be directed by the duo of Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwala, and is being called the biggest musical by Mukesh Films till date! Jashn's music will be composed by the Jaipur based debutant music director Sharib, and the Bhatt’s seem to think that he’ll be Bollywood’s top composer within a year of the films release! Jashn itself will be about a 19 year old boy called Akash whose life’s ambition is to become a rockstar, and to do full justice to his role, Shekhar Suman’s son has already started attending guitar classes just to play his part convincingly. We’ll know if he manages to pull that off when Jashn comes out in March 2009! |
